On the 30th of March pupils of Kiev school №2 launched into the space almost 200 smiles. The school children drew their smiles on the multicolored balloons and set them free synchronously after the call “One, two, three, set your smile free!”. The action, organized by the Kiev City Organization of the Ukrainian Youth SOBOR got the name “The Express of Smiles”. - Dmytro Masliak was elected as the UYS attorney for external relations -
The UYS presidium member Dmytro Masliak was elected as an attorney of the Youth Sobor for external relations. The relevant resolution was passed by the organizations presidium. On Friday, February 13, in the Museum of the Ukrainian folk decorative art (in the territory of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra) there took place a theatricalized fashion show The Feast is Coming! The collection included 24 stylized clothes with bright ethnic elements and futuristic trends reminding the creative works of Maria Pryimachenko. All works were prepared by the students of M. Boychuk State Institute of Decorative Applied Arts and Design of Kyiv. «The clothes created by these students deserves being presented at the fashion weeks. It is remarkable for its expressed ethnic motives combine with modern femininity», says the production director of this show, scriptwriter Anna Zakletska.

 | Artem Stelmashov, member of the presidium He was born on June 25, 1981 in Kyiv. After graduating from Ivan Franko secondary school No. 92 in Kyiv in 1998 he entered the National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the Department of Publications and Polygraphy, which he graduated from in 2004 with honors. From 1999 to 2003 he’s been the Chairman of the Students’ Council of the National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and was elected to the Senate of the National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Pan-Ukrainian Association of Young Scientists. In 2005 and 2006 he worked as a director of the press service of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Since May 2006 he’s been the press secretary of the State service for tourism and resorts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine. He’s been an assistant adviser of the national deputy of Ukraine. Since 2007 he’s been the assistant of the Minister of Economics of Ukraine. Since 2007 he’s been the PR department manager and deputy director of the PR administration of the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine. He participated in organization and carrying out of the University competitions the Mister of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the Students’ Family of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, days of faculties and institutes of the National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and other cultural events in the Centre of Culture and Arts at the National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. He is the deputy Chairman of Kyiv municipal organization of the Ukrainian Republican Party Sobor, member of the Central board of the URP Sobor, member of the presidium of the Central board of the Pan-Ukrainian Public Organization Ukrainian Youth Sobor. In June 2001 he was elected as a deputy of the Students’ Parliament of Kyiv. By commission of the central statutory authorities of UYS he’s been the supervisor of the Crimean, Kherson and Sevastopol organizations of the Sobor.
