![]() | Rostyslav Derzhypilskiy, the first deputy chairman of UYS, the chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of UYS Born on October 7, 1975 in the city of Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the family of teachers. From 1981 to 1992 he’s been obtaining secondary education in Kosiv secondary school No. 1, which he graduated from with the golden medal. In 1992 he entered Ivan Franko State University of Lviv, the Faculty of History which it graduated in 1998. In 1994 he entered M. Lysenko Higher State Musical Institute of Lviv to the actor’s department and graduated from the same in 1998 with qualification “actor of drama and cinema”. After graduation he left for Ivano-Frankivsk where from 1998 to 2000 he’d been working as a drama actor in I. Franko regional musical drama theatre of Ivano-Frankivsk and from 2000 to September 2001 – as a teacher of the art of theatre at the child school of arts No. 23 of V. Stefanyk By-Carpathian State University. In September 2001 he left for Kyiv where till May 2003 he’d been working at a drama actor in Kyiv theatre Free Stage. In June 2003 he returned to Ivano-Frankivsk and since then has been working at a drama actor in I. Franko regional musical drama theatre of Ivano-Frankivsk and part time as a teacher of the actor’s art in the Institute of Arts at B. Stefanyk By-Carpathian State University. Since April 21, 2002 he’s been the member of the Ukrainian Republican Party Sobor and Board Member of Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of URP Sobor. In November 2003 he was elected as the chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the Ukrainian Youth Sobor. Since February 2004 he’s been the deputy chairman of the Pan-Ukrainian Public Ukrainian Youth Sobor and the member of the Central board of the Ukrainian Republican Party Sobor. y commission of the central statutory authorities of the UYS he is the supervisor of Rivne, Ternopil and Chernivtsi regional organizations of the Youth Sobor. |

Leading experts on foreign policy and security - former Deputy Secretary of State of the USA and President of the Brookings Institution Strobe Talbott and former High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union (1999-2009) and Secretary General of NATO (1995-1999) Javier Solana – visited Kyiv on 31 March 2010. These leading international policy makers participated in public debates organized by the Yalta European Strategy (YES) and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
Anna Zakletska-Burak, the Vice-President of the Ukrainian Youth SOBOR in charge of the external relations, represented the organization on the annual “Young Leaders Meeting”, held on the 15th – 18th of October in Aachen, Germany.
On the 30th of March pupils of Kiev school №2 launched into the space almost 200 smiles. The school children drew their smiles on the multicolored balloons and set them free synchronously after the call “One, two, three, set your smile free!”. The action, organized by the Kiev City Organization of the Ukrainian Youth SOBOR got the name “The Express of Smiles”.
The UYS presidium member Dmytro Masliak was elected as an attorney of the Youth Sobor for external relations. The relevant resolution was passed by the organizations presidium. Therefore now Dmytro Masliak is obliged to establish and supervise relations with international organizations and funds and to reinforce interaction with them.
On Friday, February 13, in the Museum of the Ukrainian folk decorative art (in the territory of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra) there took place a theatricalized fashion show The Feast is Coming! The collection included 24 stylized clothes with bright ethnic elements and futuristic trends reminding the creative works of Maria Pryimachenko. All works were prepared by the students of M. Boychuk State Institute of Decorative Applied Arts and Design of Kyiv. «The clothes created by these students deserves being presented at the fashion weeks. It is remarkable for its expressed ethnic motives combine with modern femininity», says the production director of this show, scriptwriter Anna Zakletska.
