On the 30th of March pupils of Kiev school №2 launched into the space almost 200 smiles. The school children drew their smiles on the multicolored balloons and set them free synchronously after the call “One, two, three, set your smile free!”. The UYS presidium member Dmytro Masliak was elected as an attorney of the Youth Sobor for external relations. The relevant resolution was passed by the organizations presidium. On Friday, February 13, in the Museum of the Ukrainian folk decorative art (in the territory of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra) there took place a theatricalized fashion show The Feast is Coming! The collection included 24 stylized clothes with bright ethnic elements and futuristic trends reminding the creative works of Maria Pryimachenko. All works were prepared by the students of M. Boychuk State Institute of Decorative Applied Arts and Design of Kyiv. «The clothes created by these students deserves being presented at the fashion weeks. It is remarkable for its expressed ethnic motives combine with modern femininity», says the production director of this show, scriptwriter Anna Zakletska.

 | Volodymyr Shpak, chairman of Ternopil regional organization He was born on November 16, 1981. From 1989 to 1990 he had been studying at the general education school No. 16 of Ternopil. Being a pupil of the 10th and 11th form he attended the specialized computer courses at the Ternopil Academy of Public Economy which he completed successfully and obtained a qualification PC Operator. In 1999 he entered the Ternopil Academy of Public Economy and obtained the major in Economic Cybernetics. In the course of study at the academy he worked in the Publishing House Economic Thought as a technical operator. In 2000 and 2001 he took an active part in actions Ukraine without Kuchma. He was one of the founders of Ternopil centre of the public organization For Truth. Together with members of the Youth Sobor he organized one of the most mass trips of students to Kyiv. In 1999 he was one of the founders of the Ternopil regional centre of the Pan-Ukrainian public organization Ukrainian Youth Sobor and in 2000 he became the chairman of the same. |
